Eggs, Fried Veal, and Baked Oatmeal Breakfast with Coffee

Ingredients:

  • For the Eggs:
  • 2 eggs (per person)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter or olive oil for frying
  • For the Fried Veal:
  • 4-6 oz veal cutlets (thin slices)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil for frying
  • For the Baked Oatmeal (pre-made or store-bought):
  • 1-2 slices of baked oatmeal (you can reheat it in the oven or microwave)
  • Optional toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup
  • For the Coffee:
  • Your preferred coffee (brew a pot or use instant)
  • Milk, cream, or sugar (optional, to your taste)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Veal:
  • Season the veal cutlets with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or olive oil.
  • Once hot, fry the veal cutlets for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  • Remove from the pan and keep warm.
  1. Cook the Eggs:
  • In the same skillet (add more butter if necessary), crack the eggs and cook them according to your preference (sunny side up, scrambled, or over-easy).
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  1. Reheat the Baked Oatmeal:
  • If you have pre-made baked oatmeal, you can reheat it in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5-10 minutes or microwave for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve it with optional toppings like fresh fruit, nuts, or a drizzle of honey/maple syrup.
  1. Serve and Enjoy:
  • Plate the fried veal, eggs, and baked oatmeal together.
  • Serve hot with a fresh cup of brewed coffee on the side.

This breakfast gives you a nice balance of protein from the eggs and veal, fiber from the baked oatmeal, and a rich, comforting cup of coffee to tie it all together.

Good appetite
